What is an event designer/ decorator?

Think about planning your wedding like building a house. Hiring a wedding planner is like hiring a builder/contractor; hiring a designer is like bringing an interior designer to the team. A decorator is like the places and stores in which the designer will go to buy the physical items that will beautify the home.

From initial theme conception to design of your special event, we will develop visuals for your viewing and  make your design dream happen. This includes design consulting, mood board assembly, floor plan creation, and sourcing and securing of  outside decor related vendors such as florist and cake designers.

As the decorator, we will be physically bringing the items needed to make your pintrest worthy event come to life! We will bring our team for set up, assembly and take down.

Do you travel?

Yes we can! If you are local to North Texas or Metro Detroit, there is no additional travel or accommodation fee. However, any other city (more than 1 hour) or state will have additional charges. Currently, we only do events within the United States of America.

Definitely. Besides Indian & Pakistani Weddings, we also are pleased to offer design and decor services for the following:

How does the design process work?

Z Lotus Events provides custom design and luxurious decoration for life’s special moments. After your initial inquiry, we curate a rough unique design and quote for our client to review. Once the contract is signed for Z Lotus Events to provide design and decor services, we take a 25% down to make sure we reserve your date in our calendars! Then we provide 2 additional 1 hour complimentary design consultation that can help fine tune personal choices and design.This usually takes place 1 after the initial deposit has been made and then 6 weeks before the event. After the final inventory contract is signed all the special items you’ve chosen is reserved and you can sit back and relax!

We have flexible payment plans that can make it easier on you as well!

What if I need to make changes?

We change our minds, and that is totally okay here! After all we want to make sure that this is the event of YOUR dreams. However, to ensure that all the items can be available for your dates, no changes can be made 4 weeks prior to the event date. If there needs to be changes after the final inventory contract has been signed, additional charges involving inventory restock, adding additional inventory and/or design meetings (if the designer seems it necessary to ensure everything is looking fabulous) might be involved.

 

Unfortunately, any customized items are non-refundable once order has been placed.

 

 

What if I don't know where to even start planning my wedding?!

Check out our rental inventory to see if we have what you need! Rental agreements and payment is required prior to shipment.
